The successful Vehicle Attendant will demonstrate:
• A high school diploma or equivalent; current students also considered
• A valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Knowledge of dealership vehicles and dealer trade procedures
• Proficiency in operating a vehicle with a manual transmission
• Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and re-prioritize as needed
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to treat others with courtesy and respect, building effective work relationships
• Familiarity with vehicle detailing procedures and safety protocols for handling equipment and chemicals
• Check-in new vehicles and dealer trades, ensuring any damage from transit is noted and reported
• Coordinate with Sales Consultants on unit deliveries and maintain an accurate delivery log
• Prepare stock folders and assign stock numbers to new vehicles, ensuring appropriate keys and tags
• Oversee vehicle cleanliness, maintaining the vehicle "wash-out" and detailing processes
• Ensure the appropriate accessories are installed in vehicles and that owner's manuals are present
• Drive vehicles for dealership-related activities, including dealer trades,and customer service/repair pick-ups and drop-offs
• Run miscellaneous errands for the dealership and contribute to maintaining the neat appearance of the dealership
• Assist in directing traffic for service events and perform other duties as requested
